What this is

Lake County Siding Guide is a directory covering 26 siding businesses working across Lake County, Florida, from Clermont and Mount Dora to Eustis, Leesburg and Tavares. It’s built for homeowners trying to figure out who actually does solid siding work locally, whether that’s a full re-side after storm damage, a repair job, or a straight-up replacement quote, without having to call around town to figure out who’s worth their time.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a siding company through this site, we pass your enquiry to a provider relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page and it never touches how a business is scored or ranked here.

Where the listing data comes from

Every business on this site starts from public business data: things like location, service area, license or registration details where available, and years operating. We pair that with a synthesis of recent Google reviews, meaning we read through what customers are saying and summarize the patterns (response time, cleanup, whether the quote matched the final bill, that sort of thing). We don’t republish review text or copy star ratings wholesale. If you want to read the original reviews yourself, every listing links out to the business’s Google profile so you can check the source directly.

How rankings work

Rankings come from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, not from opinions or handshake deals. The full breakdown of what gets scored and how it’s weighted lives on our /methodology/ page, and it’s the same rubric for every listing in the county. A siding company can request corrections to its own factual details, like an updated phone number, service area, or years in business, but it cannot edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or where it lands in the rankings. That stays independent of the business.

Sponsored listings

Some pages include a placement that’s clearly labeled “Sponsored.” Sponsored spots are shown in a separate section from the earned rankings and are never blended into the ranked list itself. Paying for a sponsored slot doesn’t move a business up the rubric-based rankings and doesn’t change its score. If you see “Sponsored” on a listing, that’s exactly what it means: a business paid for visibility, and the ranking below it is still earned on the data.
